I'm not a member of that (nor do I wish to be, I'm too lazy), but why don't you publicise these events? I'm sure you'd get lots more members.

There is a really simple way to get rid of our owners that stands out a mile. Do it right and they'll be off like a shot.

Time to act, protest and embarrass them.

I'm keen to unite with fellow fans to make statements about the state of OUR club. Anybody else want to remove these charlatans?

Piss fucking poor this from the club.

Unbelievable greed on what is a relatively small number of available tickets.

Reeks of Brady and cunty ways. Nevertheless the blame has to sit with very top and beggars belief to why they've allowed this to happen.

Why,why, why have the club done this,? 52000 STH ,3000 away fans give or take that barely leaves 2000 for ballot and Newham freebies ,so what percent of the remainder will be children ,the money they make from this and all the cat A games will hardly be able to buy Messi they will just buy a load of bad publicity!

Not if you're on the automatic cup scheme.

Regardless of which, it's pretty poor of the club selling tickets with assurances that they can be upgraded, when they're not going to honour that.

I understand that Chelsea was a security risk, but a change of policy such as this should be communicated properly with the offer of refunds to anyone who bought kids tickets specifically to upgrade.

Instead they informed people at the ticket window that they couldn't upgrade and forced them to bunk in. Utterly mindless.

Re: Ticket prices v Arsenal total disgrace
Brucies - doubt it. The match is on the season ticket whereas Chelsea was not, it had to be sold from 0.

There are only a couple of thousand matchday tickets which will all go to members.

Re: Ticket prices v Arsenal total disgrace
Are the club going to implement the same policy for the Arsenal game as they did for Chelsea (i.e. ticket purchase history required to buy or upgrade tickets)?

If so, we could have another ridiculous situation whereby fans willing to pay are denied the chance to upgrade their tickets and loads of seats remain empty, despite it being a "sell out". In doing so they'll essentially be forcing fans to bunk in on kids tickets again.

It's a policy that defies belief, made worse by the fact that they sold some 10k kids season tickets on the condition that they could be upgraded easily, and didn't communicate the change of policy prior to the Chelsea game. It's still an absolute ballache to upgrade and there's no excuse for this given the introduction of new ticket portal.

Perhaps I shouldn't be, but I'm genuinely shocked by the level of incompetence.

Re: Ticket prices v Arsenal total disgrace
Its all fabricated bullshit to increase demand and inflate prices - you wait until you see next years season ticket prices and the uptake after what is going to be a lacklustre season.....if what they are saying at the moment they could twice fill the ground with season ticket holders alone....

Thats a lot of popcorn

I believe they have 55K waiting list. An uber driver I had is on it. A copper I spoke to investigating a local burglary is on it. Both not West Ham fans. There must be thousands who were attracted by the prices.
